Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks an Associate, Finance and Capital Markets to support and manage project finance transactions across wind, solar, gas and storage projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in finance, banking, consulting, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop complex financing models in Excel.
• Familiarity in reading and interpreting commercial contracts and agreements.
• Ability to prioritize several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support project finance transactions including construction debt, term debt, working capital, and tax equity investments.
• Manage project and portfolio-level financings for operating projects.
• Interpret terms in operating and financing agreements to identify issues and communicate findings to management.
• Develop and manage financial models to analyze project and partnership level performance.
• Synthesize and communicate project economic summaries to senior management.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting, and treasury teams for disbursements, tax returns, valuations, and project models.
• Assist in due diligence processes for restructurings, debt refinancings, equity buyouts, and asset divestitures.
• Manage due diligence and closing process for financing transactions.
• Support corporate finance activities including cash management and compliance with corporate loan facilities.
