Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a nationwide engineering, architecture, and surveying firm, seeks a Renewable Energy Civil Engineer/Project Manager in Denver. You’ll lead civil design for solar, wind, and BESS projects, manage multiple tasks from feasibility to final design, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and agencies.

The role emphasizes strong PM skills, PE registration, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 10–20 years of civil engineering experience.
• 5+ years in solar, BESS, wind or similar renewable energy projects preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide lead civil engineering technical support and design for renewable energy projects from concept to construction.
• Prepare, develop, and review civil design plans and related documents.
• Provide project management working directly with the client’s project manager.
