Job summary

RES Group in Denver, CO is seeking an Engineering Project Manager – Engineering Delivery to coordinate engineering efforts for utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS power plants and associated transmission and distribution systems.

You will work with RES engineering and outside engineers, manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, and design reviews, mentor AEPMs, and ensure safety and quality throughout EPC, bid-build, development, and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering required.
• Master's degree in Project Management preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with wind/solar experience required.
• Ability to travel 5–15%.

Responsibilities

• Identifies scope, develops schedules, and coordinates engineering and design activities for early-stage development projects, major bid/RFP opportunities, and EPC construction projects.
• Establishes and manages project engineering budget, schedule, and scope expectations.
• Creates and maintains an RFI register with Procore.
• Reviews designs for compliance with technical specifications and scope of work.
• Coordinates with outside engineers and RES engineering team for design review and progress.
• Supports AEPMs by delegating tasks and guiding learning through project management activities.
• Presents, supports, and leads safety- and quality-oriented initiatives.
