Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Renewable Energy Civil Engineer in Denver, CO. You will work with experienced engineers on solar, BESS, and wind projects, handling site layout, grading, road design, drainage studies, and hydrologic modeling from early due diligence to final design and construction.

The role may involve serving as Project Manager for renewable energy projects and requires ABET-accredited civil engineering education, PE registration, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience.
• PE registration required.
• Experience with solar, BESS, wind projects preferred.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering design and technical support for renewable energy projects from conceptual through final design and construction.
• Prepare, develop, and review civil design plans and related documents.
• Provide project management in collaboration with the client’s project manager.
• Manage relationships with clients and agencies and conduct site observations.
• Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and consultants.
