Farnsworth Group is seeking a Renewable Energy Civil Engineer/Project Manager to work on solar, battery storage, wind, and related projects in posting locations Denver, CO and St. Louis, MO.

The role requires ABET-accredited civil engineering credentials, PE/EIT, AutoCAD and Civil 3D expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 10–20 years civil engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience in solar, BESS, wind or similar renewable energy projects preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience required.
• Design experience on wind, solar and/or BESS projects preferred.
• Ability and willingness to manage and contribute to several projects concurrently.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project

Responsibilities

• Provide lead civil engineering technical support and design for the development of renewable energy projects (conceptual through final design and construction), as part of an engineering team.
• Prepare, develop, and review civil engineering design and construction plans and related documents.
• Provide project management working directly with the Client’s project manager.
• Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies.
• Prepare project proposals
• Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and consultants.
• Communicate with clients regarding current and future projects.
• Supervise, train and mentor younger engineers
