Job summary

Geronimo Power's Bloomington internship program offers hands-on experience supporting debt financings, tax equity, asset monetizations, and other capital formation activities in the renewable energy sector.

You will work with Finance, Development, Accounting, and Legal teams to analyze deals, prepare materials, and assist in managing data rooms for active transactions, gaining exposure to project finance and capital planning processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Rising seniors graduating within one year preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support financial modeling and analysis for financing and strategic transactions.
• Assist with preparation of sensitivities, scenario analyses, and other analytical outputs.
• Support lender, investor, consultant, and advisor diligence requests.
• Assist in organizing data rooms, transaction materials, and supporting documentation.
• Help track transaction deliverables and coordinate information requests across internal and external stakeholders.
• Support preparation of management presentations, investment materials, and approval memoranda.
• Perform research and analysis related to financing alternatives, market activity, and renewable energy industry trends.
• Collaborate with Development, Asset Management, Accounting, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams on transaction-related initiatives.
• Support strategic projects that improve capital planning, transaction execution, and reporting processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
