Job summary

Geronimo Power, LLC in Bloomington, MN is offering an Asset Management Performance Analyst Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting performance optimization, reporting, and analysis of a growing renewable energy assets portfolio, with exposure to operational analytics and BI tools.

You will collaborate across departments, develop Power BI dashboards, present your findings, and contribute to data-driven decision-making while learning about renewable energy asset

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365 applications, and business intelligence or reporting tools.
• Basic experience with coding, scripting, or data analysis tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the Asset Management team in identifying opportunities to improve asset performance, production, and operational efficiency across renewable energy projects.
• Assist with data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting related to asset performance and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting requests and ongoing business intelligence initiatives.
• Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Review business processes and data workflows to identify opportunities for operational improvements and greater reporting effectiveness.
• Help investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting, data quality, and analytical issues.
• Support the creation of performance summaries, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance data management, reporting accuracy, and decision-making capabilities.
• Work with Asset Management team members to monitor key performance indicators and asset optimization efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
