Job summary

Geronimo Power is seeking a Project Planning & Cost Controls Intern in Bloomington, MN, for Summer 2027. You will support planning, forecasting, reporting, and portfolio management across utility-scale renewable energy projects, gaining hands-on experience with data analytics and dashboards.

You will collaborate with Development, Engineering, Construction, Finance, Procurement, and PM teams, presenting outcomes to leadership at the internship's end.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, forecasting, and reporting across a portfolio of renewable energy projects.
• Assist in the collection, analysis, and organization of project performance data.
• Contribute to dashboards, management reports, and executive presentations.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through schedule, cost, and portfolio analysis.
• Support process improvement initiatives focused on reporting, forecasting, governance, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with maintaining project controls tools, templates, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Construction, Finance, Procurement, and Project Management teams on data and reporting needs.
• Prepare project summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
