Job summary

Geronimo Power, Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Real Estate Intern for Summer 2027 to support renewable energy projects through real estate due diligence, site control administration, and landowner relations.

The intern will gain hands-on experience reviewing title commitments, managing contracts, and coordinating with cross-functional teams, while developing SOPs and standard processes for project workflows.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Land Management, Public Administration, Agriculture, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing title commitments, title reports, and supporting due diligence documentation.
• Track title objections, curative items, and project milestones.
• Organize and maintain project files, agreements, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with preparation of due diligence summary reports and project trackers.
• Support data collection and analysis related to site control activities.
• Support lease, easement, option, and amendment tracking.
• Assist with contract abstracting and document management.
• Maintain project databases and document repositories.
• Monitor critical dates, notice requirements, and contract obligations.
• Assist with preparation of project status reports.
• Help maintain landowner contact databases and records.
• Prepare correspondence and outreach materials.
• Support meeting preparation and follow-up documentation.
• Track landowner inquiries and assist with resolution coordination.
• Document business processes and workflows.
• Assist with development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Create job aids, training materials, and user guides.
• Support implementation and maintenance of real estate technology platforms.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and document management.
