Job summary

Distributed Sun Group seeks a BD Associate to support the sales and business development team in advancing behind-the-meter, distributed energy projects for industrial and other end-use customers. This role works closely with senior sales professionals to coordinate customer outreach, maintain CRM data, and prepare sales materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build a career in renewable energy sales and project development, with hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0.5–2.5 years in sales, business development, marketing, consulting, renewable energy, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional presentations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with ability to research, synthesize, and recommend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer presentations, proposals, and internal materials to advance opportunities.
• Assist in introductory calls to understand customer needs and document follow-ups.
• Manage administrative tasks, NDAs, and customer information.
• Administer HubSpot CRM data, pipeline, and dashboards for leadership.
• Support CRM updates, opportunity management, and marketing collaborations.
• Coordinate lead-gen campaigns with marketing (webinars, emails, collateral).
• Research prospects, markets, and competitors and summarize findings for sales.
