Job summary

Distributed Sun in Washington, DC is seeking a BD Associate to support the sales and business development team for behind-the-meter distributed energy projects. You will coordinate outreach, maintain CRM data, and prepare sales materials to advance commercial opportunities.

Working closely with senior professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience in complex transactions, build customer relationships, and take on increasing responsibilities as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0.5–2.5 years in sales, business development, marketing or renewable energy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support senior sales professionals throughout the sales process with presentations and documents.
• Participate in introductory calls to understand customer needs and document actions.
• Maintain CRM data, manage NDAs, and coordinate information requests.
• Administer HubSpot CRM and contribute to pipeline dashboards.
