Pattern Energy in Houston seeks a motivated Accounting Intern to join our Settlements team. You will gain hands-on experience with the financial and operational activities that support Pattern Energy’s renewable energy portfolio, including data analysis, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

This internship offers exposure to the connection between commercial energy activity and Accounting, with collaboration across teams and a final summer project presentation.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and financial information.
• Proficiency in Excel; eager to develop advanced analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Research and document processes within the Settlements team.
• Organize supporting documentation for accounting data requests.
• Collaborate with Accounting to understand the financial lifecycle of renewable energy transactions.
• Complete a summer project and present findings and recommendations.
