Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Manager to own and build out the REC Settlements & Revenue Accounting function. You will shape and streamline revenue capture, settlements, and related controls across commercial operations, treasury, origination, asset management, and regulatory teams.

This role requires 8+ years of accounting experience, CPA, and strong US GAAP knowledge, with experience in renewables or environmental commodities.

Qualifications

• Must have CPA and 8+ years in accounting, revenue or settlements.
• Experience with RECs, environmental commodities or SOX is a plus.
• Strong control mindset, analytical ability and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize REC settlements and revenue accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Treasury, Origination, Asset Management, and Regulatory teams.
• Support implementation of Allegro and related processes.
• Prepare and review invoices, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for monthly/quarterly close.
• Assist with revenue recognition and financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for SOX and external audits.
