Southern Power is seeking an Engineer/Analyst for Renewable Asset Management. The role focuses on financial, operational, and strategic performance of solar and wind assets across multiple facilities in the U.S.

You will track revenues and expenses, support budgets and forecasts, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Responsibilities include lifecycle optimization, due diligence for acquisitions, and coordination with O&M teams to ensure high availability.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management, preferably in renewables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Contract management experience and ability to manage multiple medium to large-scale projects.

• Track and analyze revenue, expenses, and asset profitability.
• Maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for assets.
• Identify and implement cost savings or revenue optimization opportunities.
• Maximize asset value and lifecycle efficiency including upgrades or decommissioning planning.
• Oversee operational performance and coordinate with O&M teams for high availability.
• Support contract development and ensure compliance with O&M agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate to produce regular performance reports and benchmark against industry standards.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
