Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Process Operator in Henderson, KY to operate computer-controlled process equipment, cooker, and associated systems, and to evaluate process problems while performing product quality testing.

You will oversee rendering from raw material to finished goods, maintain cooker temperature and steam, monitor evaporation and flow, run the pollution control and boiler systems, and uphold safety and food safety program requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Prior experience in rendering facility or production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage.
• Maintain cooker temperature, rate, and steam at peak operating levels.
• Monitor evaporation rate to maintain hourly rate according to requirements.
• Operate pollution control systems and boiler startup.
• Ensure equipment and work area are clean; follow safety rules.
