Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking an entry level Rendering Operator Level 1 for the 1st shift to assist daily rendering operations. Responsibilities include unloading, material handling, and maintaining clean, safe work areas to support production efficiency.

The role requires ability to operate forklifts and other equipment, perform physically demanding tasks, and comply with safety protocols across wet, dusty, and loud plant environments. Training and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of continuous employment in the last 2 years.
• Prefer 3 consecutive months operator experience within the last 2 years.
• Background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unload combo units and transfer contents safely.
• Operate forklifts and other motorized equipment.
• Perform cleaning with soap and high-pressure hoses; maintain housekeeping.
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance).
• Maintain safety protocols and clear communication with operations.
