Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Cumming, GA is seeking Production Operators for the Rendering Plant.

You will safely operate rendering equipment and production systems to process raw materials into finished products, while meeting safety, quality, and customer requirements. This role requires at least 6 months of hands-on manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a PIT/forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of hands-on work in manufacturing, industrial, or related labor roles.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and processes.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to learn production equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Team-based work with supervision and coworkers; report issues promptly.
• Must obtain and maintain PIT/forklift certification.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and attendance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust rendering equipment and production systems.
• Move, inspect, store, and load materials and finished products with conveyors and forklifts.
• Monitor product quality and production flow; report issues to supervision.
• Complete routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and paperwork.
• Learn multiple jobs across the facility and support production goals.
