Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Rendering Production Operator in Cumming, GA. The role involves safely operating rendering equipment and production systems to convert raw materials into finished products, while meeting safety, quality, and customer requirements.

The position requires at least 6 months of hands-on labor experience, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and the ability to obtain PIT/forklift certification.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of hands-on labor/manufacturing experience in the last 2 years.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must obtain/maintain PIT/forklift certification.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust rendering equipment and production systems safely.
• Receive, inspect, move, store, and load materials using conveyors and forklifts.
• Monitor product quality, production flow, and equipment performance; report issues to supervision.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance; keep records and housekeeping up to date.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks across the facility to support production goals.
