Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support the clinic team. You will greet patients, answer phones, and assist with transportation while maintaining accurate medical records and preparing patient charts for treatments.

You will also handle billing logs, forms for government agencies, inventory, and lab processing. Prior healthcare/admin experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors; answering phones; assisting patients with transportation arrangements.
• Maintain clinic operations by updating and maintaining medical records and preparing patient records for treatments.
• Audit records for ongoing compliance; support financial operations by entering charges and preparing billing and attendance logs.
• Complete forms and reports as required by governmental agencies; ensure adequate supplies and inventory; reordering when required.
• Assist in processing lab work by preparing lab slips and directing labs to the appropriate laboratory.
