Job summary

US Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clinic operations and patient care in Milledgeville, GA. You will greet patients, manage phone inquiries, and assist with transportation and documentation.

You will handle medical records, chart preparation, and billing logs, ensuring compliance and efficient workflows. The role requires basic office tech skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn USRC applications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel).
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in all USRC applications required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Customer Care: greet patients and visitors, answer phones, answer patient questions, assist with transportation arrangements.
• Operational Support: update and maintain medical records, prepare patient records for treatments, assist in auditing records for compliance, enter charges and prepare billing and attendance logs, complete forms and reports for governmental agencies, ensure supplies and inventory, reorder as needed.
• Lab processing: prepare lab slips and tubes and direct labs to the appropriate laboratory.
