Job summary

U.S. Renal Care in Canton, GA is seeking a Unit Clerk to join our clinic team. You will provide essential operational support, greet patients, answer phones, and help coordinate transportation and records.

You will maintain medical records, prepare charts for treatments, assist in billing and attendance logs, manage supplies, and support lab processing while ensuring compliance and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in a clinical/healthcare setting.
• At least one year of experience in an administrative role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with USRC applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and assist with transportation arrangements.
• Maintain and update medical records and prepare patient charts for treatments.
• Enter charges and assist with billing and attendance logs; complete required forms and reports.
• Ensure supplies and inventory, reorder as needed, and direct labs to the appropriate lab.
• Support lab processing by preparing lab slips and tubes.
