Job summary

MAC.DISCOUNT LLC seeks a Removal Floater to support customer pick-ups in our auction-based retail operation. You will greet customers, help locate items, and ensure smooth checkout and handover processes on site in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position with weekly pay.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, able to lift up to 25 lb, follow written directions, and provide excellent customer service. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Must be onsite Monday through Friday for 8 hours with specific shift times.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in locating items.
• Explain and demonstrate how to collect items won at auction.
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $18.25 Hourly

REMOVAL FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns, and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available to work onsite Monday thru Friday for 8 hours, MWF 10-6:30p and Tues/Thurs 11:45-8:15p with a half-hour lunch break with 2 days off, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
