Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Removal Floater to assist at customer pickups and support the removal team. You will greet customers, help locate items, and ensure a smooth checkout process. This on-site position reports to the Removal Team Lead and includes handling item pickups and customer service.

Qualifications include the ability to lift 25 pounds (50 with team lift), strong organization, and attention to detail. HS diploma preferred and a commitment to safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Must be able to lift 25 lb alone and 50 lb with a team.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help locate items.

• Scan customers in and out for item pickups.

JOB OVERVIEW

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule Monday-Friday 9:45am-6:15pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
