Job summary

MAC.BID is a Greenville, SC-based retailer that buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock, selling items through online auctions. The Removal Floater supports customers during pick-ups and collaborates with the Removal Team Lead to ensure exemplary service.

The role focuses on greeting customers, helping them locate items, and encouraging ongoing bidding while performing related duties as needed. On-site shifts are required, with a structured schedule and strong emphasis on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:45AM-6:15PM & Tues/Thurs 11:45AM-8:15PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused

Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups
