Job summary

MAC.BID in Jackson, TN is seeking a Removal Floater to assist in customer pick-ups and maintain an organized sales area. You will greet customers, help them locate items, and scan in/out for item pickups, ensuring a smooth bidding experience.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, is full-time hourly non-exempt, and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds solo (50 with team assist). This position emphasizes service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups
