Job summary

MAC.BID in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Removal Floater to assist in all stages of customer pick-up. You will greet customers, help them locate items, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

This full-time, hourly, non-exempt role requires on-site work with Monday–Saturday shifts, lifting up to 25 pounds solo (50 with team), and strict adherence to company policies. JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up . The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
