Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Facility Floater to support all warehouse operations in Monroeville. The role is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, reporting to the Facility Team Lead.

You will assist with pallet handling, sorting, and general housekeeping to keep the operation running smoothly. Responsibilities include unloading live trailers, inventory tasks, cardboard bale preparation, and following management instructions.

Qualifications

• On-site availability with varying shifts Mon–Sat.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb with team lift when required.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces with basic cleaning tools.
• Empty garbage and manage dumpster according to criteria.
• Collect and bale cardboard.
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

Job description

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
