Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Facility Floater to support warehouse and operations on-site. You will assist with inventory, pallet handling, cleaning, and unloading live trailers at the dock to ensure smooth workflows.

The role requires standing/walking for long periods, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs solo or 50 lbs with a team, and adherence to written directions. Shifts are 8 hours with a 30-minute lunch, Monday through Saturday as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site; schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Floater assists with every job within the department to ensure smooth operations. This position reports to the Facility Team Lead.

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management
