Job summary

You will manage core z/OS components, perform tuning, and provide senior-level technical support from a distributed work setup.

The role requires 10+ years of z/OS programming, strong MVS/JES2/Sysplex/LPAR expertise, and SMP/E lifecycle management. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of z/OS system programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with MVS, JES2, Sysplex, and LPAR configurations.
• Expertise in SMP/E installation and maintenance, z/OS upgrades, and ISV software lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Install, customize, maintain, and support z/OS operating system environments.
• Execute system tuning, performance optimization, and capacity management activities.
• Provide Level 3 technical support for critical incidents and lead Root Cause Analysis efforts.
