Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a ZOS Network Consultant to join a skilled team supporting a large-scale z/OS platform in New York. The role requires a seasoned systems programmer with extensive z/OS networking experience and a focus on security and connectivity.

You will work within a team that supports IBM mainframe networks, participate in a 24x7 rota, and handle VTAM, IPSEC, and TLS/SSL configurations to maintain robust data communications in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as a z/OS Systems Specialist in the IT industry of over 10+ years.
• Must work in Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Support IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products and infrastructure.
• Participate in 24x7 support rota.
• Perform TCPIP Port Reserves (Additions, Deletions, Changes).
• Perform VTAM updates (Additions, Deletions, Changes).
• Manage OSA Adapters in a complex mainframe environment.
• Configure VTAM PU/LU updates including Enterprise Extenders (EE).
• Implement AT-TLS rules and IPSEC policies.
• Trace, Debug and Error Analysis.
• Communicate with technical and operations staff on connectivity and security.
