Job summary

NTT DATA North America in New York is seeking a Z/OS Network Consultant to join a specialist team supporting a large-scale mainframe network. The role offers hybrid work in New York and remote options across the US.

The candidate will have 3+ years of experience with z/OS networking, VTAM, OSA adapters, IPsec and TLS. You will participate in 24x7 support, handle security configurations and work with multiple teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting the z/OS Mainframe Network environment.
• Experience configuring and maintaining host communication subsystems and security.
• Experience administering file transmissions products such as Connect:Direct or as a user.
• Knowledge of z/OS utilities and networking services.
• Familiarity with IPSec, TLS/SSL, and digital certificates.

Responsibilities

• Support IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support.
• Manage OSA adapters in complex mainframe environments.
• Implement AT-TLS rules and IPsec policies.
• Trace, Debug and perform error analysis.
• Communicate with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure connectivity and security.
