Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a ZOS Network Consultant in New York with remote options to join a large-scale z/OS mainframe environment. You will support a multi-team network infrastructure, maintain security, and participate in a 24x7 rota, ensuring robust connectivity and data protection across enterprise systems.

The role requires deep z/OS experience, strong networking and security skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while collaborating with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT industry experience working as a z/OS Systems Specialist.
• Experience with z/OS networking services and related software.

Responsibilities

• Support IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products and infrastructure.
• Participate in 24x7 support rota.
• Manage VTAM, OSA adapters, and PU/LU updates in a complex z/OS environment.
• Configure and manage IPsec/TLS certificates and VPNs.
• Diagnose issues with trace, debug and error analysis.
• Communicate with technical, applications and operations staff to ensure network connectivity and security.
