Job summary

Urban Alliance Baltimore is seeking an experienced youth development professional to serve as a Program Coordinator supporting high school students in paid internship and apprenticeship pathways. The role focuses on delivering high-quality program implementation, managing a student caseload through coaching, and maintaining strong partnerships with employers, schools, and families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • At least two years in youth development, education, workforce development, or related field.
  • Experience providing case management, advising, or coaching to high school students.
  • Teaching or group facilitation experience required.
  • Strong relationship-building with youth and adult stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conflict mediation.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; proficient with Office/Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a cohort of high school students in paid internships or apprenticeships.
  • Monitor students’ performance and provide 1:1 coaching focused on readiness and planning.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops and career exploration activities.
  • Maintain documentation and conduct timely site visits with employer partners.
  • Coordinate with schools, families, and partners; support program evaluations and data needs.
