Boomering is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage Xero-based bookkeeping for multiple clients from a home office. You will handle transaction processing, reconciliations, payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records.

The role is part-time with growth toward full-time as the client base expands, emphasizing accuracy, independence, and documenting improvements to procedures. You will collaborate with a supportive leadership team and gain exposure to payroll and compliance tasks in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a similar discipline.
• Qualified/certified Bookkeeper is highly desired.
• 2–3 years of proven bookkeeping experience including payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliations.
• Strong proficiency in Xero is essential.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills desirable.
• Comfortable using Gmail and Google Workspace for day-to-day communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients using Xero.
• Process and allocate client transactions to a high standard.
• Complete bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies for escalation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for individual clients.
• Process payroll accurately using provided timesheets.
