Job summary

MXR Imaging, Inc. seeks an experienced X-ray Field Service Engineer to perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of medical imaging equipment at customer sites.

The role is home-office based with limited overnight travel for service and training, covering x-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound systems. The candidate will install imaging equipment, handle site planning and coordination, complete regulatory paperwork, order parts, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Medical Imaging Field Service.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing medical imaging equipment.
• Proficiency with installation and preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs for medical imaging equipment including x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound.
• Install imaging equipment including site planning, project coordination and interaction with customers/contractors.
• Complete state and FDA paperwork for installation of radiation generating equipment.
• Order parts and supplies to maintain equipment and manage service tickets.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local laws and industry standards.
• Provide on-call service coverage after hours on a rotating basis.
• Complete administrative duties: time sheets, expense reports and FDA reporting.
