Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field required.
• 15+ years of workers’ compensation claims or risk-management experience.
• Experience with multi-state claims and complex or litigated claims.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation practices, reserves, and settlements.
• Proficiency with Excel and claims-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead workers' compensation strategy and claims management across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate claim strategy with carriers, TPAs, defense counsel, and internal partners.
• Review significant, complex, or litigated claims and recommend defense or settlement actions.
• Manage in-house injuries and claims with coordination to medical and finance teams.
• Analyze loss data and support strategies to reduce total cost of risk.
• Prepare information for insurers, underwriters, and executives to demonstrate risk-management capabilities.
