Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• 1+ year workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
• Defense Base Act/Longshore & Harbor Workers' Compensation experience is a plus.
• Strong research, analytical and organizational abilities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation defense matters from assignment through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs and memoranda.
• Coordinate with clients, colleagues and partners to ensure timely, effective case handling.
