The successful candidate will handle defense of workers' compensation claims, perform legal research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in pre-trial and trial settings across multiple matters.

Qualifications

• JD required and admitted to practice in the state
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney
• Strong research, writing, deposition and trial experience
• Solid knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Defend workers' compensation claims for benefits including medical, disability, death, and rehabilitation claims.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to make informed decisions and provide sound legal advice.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in pre-trial and trial matters, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
