Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a WC Claims Supervisor to lead a claims team in a remote role in the United States. This position requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive performance across staff and processes.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, handle complex claims issues, and collaborate with management to improve service quality and outcomes. A Bachelor's degree with WC licensing and 5+ years of claims experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation required.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims must be maintained.
• State Certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding staff.
• Ensures staff compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and reporting.
• Provides training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Guides staff on complex compensability, investigation, and litigation issues.
• Acts as liaison for resolutions with clients and employees.
