Job summary

You will supervise day-to-day operations, support recruiting and onboarding, ensure compliance with workers’ compensation laws, and coach staff to achieve quality and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Public speaking skills.
• Minimum of 5 years’ claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation required.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims.
• State Certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster.

Responsibilities

• Supervises WC claims staff in day-to-day operations.
• Assist Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
• Ensure staff compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and regulatory reporting.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations; suggest merit-based actions.
• Guide staff on complex compensability, investigation, and litigation issues.
