Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field.
• Associate in Claims (AIC) designation.
• Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.
• CPCU coursework or equivalent continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex workers' compensation claims with minimal supervision.
• Research policy language to support coverage decisions.
• Investigate and evaluate liability, damages, reserves, and settlement strategy.
• Negotiate with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and others involved.
• Oversee litigated files and work with counsel on resolutions.
• Maintain accurate reserves, timely follow-up, and detailed documentation.
• Present complex claims to Committee and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Collaborate with team and internal partners to resolve claims effectively.
• Provide mentorship to other Claims team members.
