• Knowledge of settlement negotiations and reserves.
• Ability to analyze investigations and determine exposure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex California workers' compensation claims.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Calculate and assign reserves and ensure reserve adequacy.
• Process benefits payments and adjust as needed.
• Prepare state filings within statutory limits.
• Manage the litigation process to ensure cost-effective resolution.
• Report claims to excess carriers and coordinate directions when needed.
