Hybrid or remote work options are available for California residents. The ideal candidate has California WC claims experience, strong investigative and negotiation skills, and knowledge of California jurisdictional requirements.

Qualifications

• California workers' compensation experience required.
• Experience handling litigated/high-exposure claims.
• California jurisdictional knowledge required; SIP licensing, or obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex or technical California workers' compensation claims and determine benefits.
• Manage claims through investigation, determination, settlement negotiation, and resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority; maintain reserves and timely payments.
• Prepare state filings within statutory limits and manage litigation to cost-effective resolution.
• Report claims to excess carriers and coordinate with clients professionally.
