Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a Payroll and People Operations Analyst to support multi-state payroll across the PROG Holdings family. This role can be performed remotely within the United States, with a preference for candidates who can work Mountain or Central time zones.

You will own payroll execution in Workday, ensure tax deposits and year-end processing are accurate, and partner with HR on compensation changes while exploring AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of multi-state payroll processing.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll experience.
• Experience with equity or stock-based payroll is a plus.
• Knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and payroll tax rules.
• CPP is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll in Workday on regular cycles and off-cycle runs.
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit payroll results for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with year-end activities such as W-2 processing and ACA reporting.
• Partner with HR on compensation changes and leave processing.
• Support automation and AI-driven improvements.
