Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a Payroll and People Operations Analyst to join our People Operations team. This role supports payroll operations across the PROG Holdings family and ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for a dynamic and growing workforce.

The position is remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates in Mountain or Central time zones, and will partner with our Payroll Manager to leverage Workday, ADP SmartCompliance, and AI-driven tools to

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally in a multi-state environment.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (required); equity or stock-based payroll a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule in Workday.
• Reconcile payroll data prior to processing cycles and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit payroll results for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain payroll records per federal, state, local requirements.
• Support payroll tax deposits and year-end activities.
