Progressive Leasing is seeking a Payroll and People Operations Analyst to join our People Operations team. This role supports payroll across PROG Holdings family and ensures accurate, timely payroll processing for a dynamic workforce.

This position can be performed remotely within the United States, with a preference for Mountain or Central time zones. You will own payroll details, work with Workday and AI tools, and partner with HR on compensation changes, audits, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience with Workday Payroll is required.
• Knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and state payroll tax rules.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with high accuracy.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Comfort with AI tools to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll in Workday on regular and off-cycle cycles.
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit payroll results for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage tax deposits and W-2/ ACA reporting support.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll inquiries and process improvements.
• Leverage AI-driven tools to improve efficiency.
