Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Workday Payroll Functional Consultant based in Canada or the US. The role combines hands-on Workday configuration with client consulting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to optimize US and Canadian payroll environments.

You will collaborate with client payroll leads and internal teams across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking to ensure accurate processing and compliant configurations, while delivering high-quality service and clear

Qualifications

• 4+ years configuring and supporting Workday Payroll in US and Canada.
• In-depth knowledge of US and Canadian payroll processes and compliance.
• Experience with Strada Payroll systems.
• Proficiency in Workday modules: Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Authorized to work in US or Canada without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support deployment, configuration, and post-implementation support of Workday Payroll for US and Canada.
• Collaborate with client Payroll leads to improve configurations and processes.
• Manage changes and assess downstream impact across Workday modules.
• Troubleshoot payroll issues and recommend performance improvements.
• Coordinate across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking for integrations.
• Review and refine payroll configurations per business needs.
• Prioritize and respond to client support cases while delivering high-quality service.
• Provide guidance to optimize Workday Payroll environment.
• Maintain clear documentation and meet timelines.
