Samsara is seeking a People Technology specialist to expand and optimize Workday across modules such as HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Timekeeping and Payroll. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable processes and lasting solutions in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in fast-growing, global companies.
• Broad Workday configuration experience spanning at least two modules (HCM, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Payroll).
• Experience in Workday security and organization configuration.
• Strong reporting skills – custom report building and optimization.
• Experience writing and executing test scenarios for implementations.
• Experience coordinating multi-workstream projects with HR, Payroll, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday configuration across HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Timecards, Absence/Leaves, Payroll.
• Own security architecture: manage hierarchies, custom objects, and security roles.
• Drive reporting and ensure scalability of reporting infrastructure.
• Lead cross-module projects and coordinate testing across HR and Payroll.
• Triage and implement Workday enhancements and fixes across modules.
• Collaborate with People Operations to document business requirements for Workday programs.
• Scope and prioritize fixes across the Workday landscape.
• Champion Samsara's cultural principles at scale.
