Job summary

Ipas is seeking a Workday System Administrator to maintain and optimize the Workday platform across Procurement, Expenses, Banking, General Ledger, Projects, and more. This remote role collaborates with HR to ensure data integrity and may engage contractors for project success.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Workday ERP experience, strong communication, and a track record delivering user-centric solutions. Remote work is supported from multiple US states and international locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience.
• At least 3 years Workday ERP experience with FDM exposure to HRIS.
• Experience managing contractors and vendors.
• Design, implementation and deployment of user-centric systems with usability focus.
• Proven record of clear communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provides routine support for Workday functional areas: Procurement and Suppliers, Expense Management, Banking and Settlement, Financial Accounting (GL & Reporting), Business Assets, Projects, Budgeting and Financial Planning.
• Supports these functional areas in a production environment and works independently with minimal oversight.
• Performs Workday administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, integrations, and upgrades.
• Monitors tickets and responds to daily support requests; proactively communicates with internal customers.
• Provides technical and functional expertise including solution review and recommendations.
• Creates technical configuration: workflow, custom fields, validations, reports, dashboards, integrations, access rights.
• Writes standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports and complex calculated fields.
• Proactively validates issues and drives timely decisions.
• Leads change management for system rollouts and upgrades; coordinates external resources as needed.
• Monitors system performance and efficiency; develops triage criteria for tickets.
• Facilitates cross-functional team meetings and liaises with Workday user community.
