Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company seeks a Workday Extend & Integration Developer based in the United States. This fully remote, six-month contract focuses on building scalable Extend applications and integrations within the Workday ecosystem.

You'll design and implement REST/SOAP integrations,Workday Studio and Orchestrations, and collaborate with Program Managers and Analysts to automate HR workflows and Touchless Payroll initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying Workday Extend applications.
• 6+ years Workday experience across HCM, Business Process Framework, Custom Reporting, Calculated Fields, Security Groups.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Extend, App Builder, Custom Business Processes, and Workday Orchestrations.
• Knowledge of Workday architecture, HCM, Payroll, security, business processes, reporting and integration capabilities.
• Experience developing integrations between Workday Extend, Core HCM, Payroll, and external systems.
• Proficiency with Workday Studio and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, EIBs, PECI, XML, XSLT, JSON).
• Understanding web services, data modeling, integration architecture, and OO development.
• Experience supporting UAT, defect remediation, performance optimization, deployments.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
• Workday Extend Certification preferred; Workday Studio/Integrations Certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Business Systems or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Workday Extend apps to automate HR workflows.
• Build dynamic page layouts, custom processes, and Extend components.
• Develop Workday Orchestrations to automate multi-step HR processes.
• Design secure REST and SOAP integrations linking Workday Extend with core systems.
• Develop data validation rules and automated controls for Touchless Payroll.
• Translate requirements into scalable Extend and integration architectures.
• Design and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, REST, SOAP, EIBs, PECI, XML, XSLT, JSON.
• Support UAT, troubleshoot defects, optimize performance.
• Apply Workday security policies and user-role configurations.
• Participate in testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
